Data Consultant

Onesecondbefore is a company that focusses on closing the gap between (digital) marketing and data science. They are the owner of the Onesecondbefore platform, which is an “instant data science” platform. The platform collects data from our client’s data sources (including their website) and transfers it to our client’s data lake. From there we help our clients in getting the maximum value out of their data by creating actionable insights with the help of our pre-built (and expanding) library of algorithms.

Your position

As Data Consultant you will help our clients to work with their data and getting the most insights and value out of it. The data is usually collected by our platform and you help us to activate it. Our areas of expertise range from data visualization, data-driven conversion attribution, cross device cookie matching and likelihood-to-convert. All is done in close contact with the client and co-workers of Onesecondbefore.

What will you do:

• You will use your knowledge of the Onesecondbefore environment to make it understandable for our clients
• Help and advice our clients with their (big) data governance
• You will analyze our client’s data and turn it into actionable insights, dashboards and reports
• You will be up to date with the latest developments in the field of cloud computing and Data Science
• You know your way around different data tooling and can support our clients to do the same

You

• Have a finished scientific background in data engineering, data science or related area, e.g. computer science or econometrics.
• Can change analytical results into insights, dashboards and can explain this clearly to different stakeholders with different backgrounds.
• Have experience with or are willing to learn Python.
• Have experience with or are willing to learn everything about cloud and how to run your code in the cloud.
• Have experience with or are willing to learn online data and tagging.
• Are motivated to understand our client’s question behind the question.
• You are somebody that takes the initiative, have a drive to improve and take the initiative for change.
• You have the desire to keep extending your knowledge.
• Are fluent in writing and speaking Dutch and English
